We don’t do fast food and nothing is ever rushed; this is slow-burning, laborious barbecue that requires predawn starts, midnight checks, and a flame that never dies. Steve has expertly developed his pitmaster skills over years of intensive practice and refinement, blending culinary precision with deep operational experience. His steadfast devotion to excellence, craftsmanship, and local connection serves as the heartbeat of the Oak & Embers mission. Each brisket, rack of ribs, link of sausage, and chicken half begins with a fire of seasoned local oak, fueling the pit for hours until the smoke, the meat, and the flame reach absolute harmony.
